Common Questions
Sizing & FAQ
Everything you need to know before ordering your armor suit.
Is this armor specifically designed for women?
Yes. Unlike generic armor that simply resizes a men’s suit, our female knight armor is shaped to complement the female silhouette — with a contoured cuirass, adjusted pauldron angles, and proportioned leg armor for a natural, comfortable fit.
Can I actually wear this armor, or is it just for display?
Both. The armor is fully wearable and battle-ready for LARP and reenactment use. It’s also stunning as a display piece — the hand-polished steel finish makes it museum-quality out of the box.
How do I know which size to order?
The leather strap system allows adjustment across a range of body sizes. For a precise fit, please contact us with your measurements (chest, waist, height, and arm length) before ordering — we’re happy to advise on the best fit.
What is the difference between the polished and blackened steel finishes?
Polished steel gives a bright, mirror-like silver finish — ideal for historical accuracy and display. Blackened steel has a dark, battle-worn aesthetic achieved through a heat or chemical treatment process, popular for fantasy LARP and gothic cosplay.
Do I need a gambeson underneath?
For LARP and reenactment use, we strongly recommend wearing a gambeson or padded arming jacket underneath. This improves comfort, protects your skin, and is historically accurate. For display or cosplay, it is optional.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship worldwide, including to the USA, Germany, Italy, and most countries globally. Shipping times and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.
How do I care for and maintain the steel armor?
After each use, wipe the steel with a dry cloth to remove moisture. Apply a light coat of mineral oil or Renaissance Wax periodically to prevent rust. Store in a dry environment away from humidity.
