Every medieval helmet at Artisans Hub begins its life as a flat sheet of high-grade steel. Our skilled artisans carefully cut, heat, and hand-shape each piece using traditional blacksmithing techniques passed down through generations. The metal is then meticulously hammered and riveted to form the iconic contours of history’s most legendary helmets—whether it’s a Crusader Great Helm or a Norman Spangenhelm. After shaping, each helmet is polished, aged, or blackened by hand, depending on the finish, and often lined with genuine leather for comfort and wearability. Our Templar helmets are a customer favorite—crafted with precision and inspired by the legendary knights of the Crusades.
