Every medieval helmet at Artisans Hub begins its life as a flat sheet of high-grade steel. Our skilled artisans carefully cut, heat, and hand-shape each piece using traditional blacksmithing techniques passed down through generations. The metal is then meticulously hammered and riveted to form the iconic contours of history’s most legendary helmets—whether it’s a Crusader Great Helm or a Norman Spangenhelm. After shaping, each helmet is polished, aged, or blackened by hand, depending on the finish, and often lined with genuine leather for comfort and wearability. The result is a helmet that not only looks and feels authentic but carries the soul of old-world craftsmanship in every curve and crease.
Our Templar helmets are a customer favorite—crafted with precision and inspired by the legendary knights of the Crusades. We recently fulfilled a bulk order of 50 Templar helmets shipped to a passionate buyer in the United States.
