❓ WILL THIS FIT ME?
|
What if I am between sizes? Always size up. Our armor is designed with adjustable straps and buckles, so a slightly larger size can be tightened. Sizing down risks restricted movement and discomfort. |
|
Do you offer custom sizing? Yes — all our armor is handcrafted and made to order. Simply send us your exact measurements via our contact form and we will craft a piece tailored precisely to you, at no extra charge for standard custom sizing. |
|
Can I mix sizes across pieces? Absolutely. You may need a Large breastplate but a Medium helmet. Each piece is sized independently, so feel free to mix and match based on your individual measurements. |
|
What about sizing for women's armor? We offer dedicated women's armor sizing. Please contact us with your bust, waist, hip, and height measurements for a custom fit recommendation. |

Full Medieval Knight Armor Set – Steel Cosplay Reenactment Costume
Step into the world of medieval history with this Full Medieval Knight Armor Set, handcrafted from high-quality mild steel and designed for an authentic late-medieval appearance. Featuring a bascinet helmet, cuirass, faulds, articulated arm harness, leg harness, and heavy-duty steel gauntlets, this complete armor ensemble creates the imposing appearance of a fully equipped medieval knight. Its articulated construction is designed to allow natural movement when properly fitted, making it suitable for LARP, historical reenactments, theater, cosplay, medieval events, photography, and decorative display. The hand-polished satin steel finish, genuine leather straps, and steel buckles add traditional character while supporting adjustable fitting. Whether you are searching for a steel knight armor set, a medieval reenactment costume, or a complete plate armor suit for a historical-themed event, this handcrafted armor offers an impressive combination of period-inspired design and practical functionality.
Key Features of the Full Medieval Knight Armor Set
Complete Head-to-Toe Armor Coverage
This Full Medieval Knight Armor Set is designed as a complete armor ensemble rather than an individual armor component. The set includes a bascinet helmet with perforated visor, protective cuirass and faulds, articulated shoulder and arm protection, steel gauntlets, and a full leg harness. Each section contributes to the appearance of a fully equipped medieval warrior while providing broad physical coverage. The layered construction creates the distinctive silhouette associated with European plate armor. For buyers seeking a full plate armor costume for reenactment, cosplay, LARP, theater, or display, the complete configuration provides a cohesive historical appearance without requiring the purchaser to source every armor component separately.
Articulated Design for Movement
Mobility is an important consideration when wearing a complete suit of armor. This armor features articulated sections around the shoulders, elbows, knees, arms, and legs to support more natural movement when properly fitted. The cuirass and faulds provide torso coverage while allowing the wearer to bend and move. The leg harness includes cuisses, knee poleyns, and lower-leg greaves with articulation. Genuine leather straps and steel buckles help secure the individual components. Buyers interested in wearable medieval knight armor should still ensure that the armor is correctly sized and adjusted before extended use.
Hand-Polished Satin Steel Finish
The armor is crafted from high-quality mild steel and features a hand-polished satin steel finish. This finish gives the plates a refined metallic appearance while maintaining the traditional visual character of historical-style armor. Stainless steel customization may also be available upon request. Genuine leather straps and steel buckles complement the metal construction and provide adjustable attachment points. Because steel thickness, construction techniques, and finishing methods may differ between individual orders, buyers should confirm the exact specifications with the seller before purchasing.
Historical Background of Medieval Plate Armor
European plate armor evolved significantly between the 14th and 15th centuries as armorers developed increasingly sophisticated methods for protecting the body with shaped and articulated steel plates. Instead of relying primarily on mail, knights could use overlapping metal defenses covering the torso, arms, hands, legs, and head. Helmets such as the bascinet became important components of medieval armor, while articulated pauldrons, elbow couters, poleyns, and other plates improved protection without completely restricting movement.
Inspired by Historical Knightly Armor
This medieval plate armor suit draws from those historical traditions through its bascinet helmet, cuirass, faulds, articulated arm harness, gauntlets, and leg harness. While intended as a handcrafted historical-style reproduction rather than a museum-authenticated original, its design is well suited to medieval-themed environments and collections. Historical reenactors and collectors can use the armor to recreate the visual appearance of a fully equipped medieval knight.
What Is Included in the Full Armor Set?
Bascinet Helmet
The bascinet helmet features a perforated visor design intended to provide ventilation and visibility while creating a distinctive medieval appearance. The helmet completes the head protection portion of the ensemble and contributes strongly to the overall historical silhouette.
Cuirass and Faulds
The form-fitting cuirass provides front torso coverage, while the faulds extend protection around the waist and lower torso. Together, these pieces create a structured central defense and help connect the upper and lower portions of the armor.
Arm Harness
The complete arm harness includes shoulder pauldrons, elbow couters, and vambraces. Articulated sections allow the arms to move more naturally when the armor is correctly fitted and adjusted.
Leg Harness
The leg harness includes thigh cuisses, knee poleyns, and lower-leg greaves. Articulated construction supports movement while maintaining the appearance of a complete armored leg harness.
Steel Gauntlets
Heavy-duty steel gauntlets complete the hand protection and add an authentic medieval character to the overall armor configuration.
Usage Guide: Where to Use Medieval Knight Armor
Historical Reenactments and Medieval Events
This Full Medieval Knight Armor Set is suitable for historical-themed events, medieval festivals, Renaissance fairs, reenactment photography, and educational demonstrations where the event organizer permits this type of armor. Always follow the safety rules and equipment requirements established by the event or reenactment organization.
LARP and Cosplay
The complete armor silhouette makes this suit suitable for LARP characters, cosplay presentations, themed photography, conventions, and medieval character costumes. Proper fitting is essential for comfortable movement during extended wear. If the armor will be used in contact activities, verify that its construction meets the specific safety requirements of the activity before use.
Theater, Film, and Display
The hand-polished steel appearance makes this suit an effective visual costume for theatrical productions, historical performances, stage photography, film-inspired events, exhibitions, and medieval-themed displays. It can also serve as an impressive decorative centerpiece for collectors and enthusiasts.
Material and Craftsmanship
High-Quality Mild Steel
The standard armor is made from high-quality mild steel. Mild steel is commonly used for historical-style armor reproductions because it can be shaped and finished to create the appearance of traditional forged plate. A stainless steel option may be available upon request for customers who prefer additional corrosion resistance. Buyers should confirm the available stainless steel grade and exact material specification before ordering.
Leather Straps and Steel Buckles
Genuine leather straps are used throughout the armor to secure and adjust the individual components. Steel buckles provide fastening points and help create a secure, tailored fit. The combination of metal, leather, and articulated plates contributes to the traditional appearance of a handcrafted Gothic and medieval armor set.
Sizing and Custom Fit
Proper sizing is essential when purchasing a complete suit of armor. This armor is available for standard adult sizes and can also be custom-made according to the buyer's exact measurements. A made-to-measure configuration can help improve the positioning of the cuirass, arm harness, leg harness, helmet, and other components. Before ordering, provide accurate measurements according to the seller's measurement instructions.
Recommended Measurements
Depending on the manufacturer's requirements, useful measurements may include height, chest circumference, waist circumference, shoulder width, arm length, wrist circumference, thigh circumference, knee circumference, calf circumference, and foot or ankle dimensions. Do not assume that your normal clothing size will correspond directly to armor sizing. For a custom medieval knight armor suit, carefully follow the manufacturer's measurement guide.
Quality Check Before Shipping
To provide additional confidence when ordering this handcrafted armor, photos are shared during the making process and again after the completed suit is ready. This allows the buyer to review the progress and finished product before shipment. Customers should use this opportunity to verify the visible finish, components, customization details, and overall appearance against their order specifications.
Care and Maintenance Instructions
Steel Armor Care
Keep the armor clean and dry after use. Wipe away moisture, fingerprints, dirt, and other residue with a soft cloth. Mild steel can be susceptible to corrosion, so avoid prolonged exposure to water and humid environments. For long-term storage, an appropriate protective metal treatment may be used according to the steel manufacturer's recommendations.
Leather Care
Keep genuine leather straps dry and away from excessive heat. Inspect straps, stitching, and buckles periodically for signs of wear. A suitable leather conditioner can be used when appropriate, following the leather-care product's instructions. Store the complete armor in a dry, ventilated environment when it is not being worn or displayed.
Important Buyer Information
This armor is a handcrafted historical-style reproduction intended for cosplay, reenactment, LARP, theater, events, photography, and display. Buyers should confirm whether the armor is appropriate for their particular activity before use. Decorative or costume armor should not automatically be considered certified protective equipment or combat-rated armor. The sword shown in product images is for display purposes only and is NOT included with the armor set.

Happy with everything
Very fine!
I waited almost 30 days to get this product and there is a customs fee, however the products look AMAZING. I would buy from them again despite all the issues I had with shipping just for the quality alone. (I gave 4 stars for the shipping, 5 stars for the product itself).

COSTUME IS PERFECTLY CRAFTED
ONLY THING THAT WAS MISSING WITH MY ORDER WAS THE METAL SHOE PIECES & ALSO THE SPIKE ON HELMET IS A LIL CUT OFF, PROBABLY SHIPPING ISSUE BUT OVERALL AWESOME COSTUME RIGHT ON tiMe FOR HALLOWEEN
The helmet itself is too small. I am lucky to have a small head and I can just barely fit in it, but after a day of LARPing in this helmet I had abrasions on my nose and forehead. The tight fit prevents using an arming cap or adding any padding. The helmet looks nice so if you want it for a short term costume or display piece this would be a good fit. The item shipped from India and there was a complication due to tariffs which was not the shippers fault.
Absolutely gorgeous one solid piece of wood hand carved and hatched even mounted a hand mount to the rear of the shield. My wife can’t get enough of. It looks absolutely fabulous in her collection.
